Weekly Private Voice Lessons
Weekly lessons are the key to creating good habits and programming healthy muscle memory. To that end, bi-weekly or a few lessons are not part of our offerings here at the voice lab. In order to sing using the full support of the body, we have to wrap our heads around commanding several muscles to work together in harmony; that takes time, practice and cultivation.
Lesson plans vary to suit the needs of individual singers but, after the first lesson or two, we’ll have discovered areas of your voice that are working comfortably as well as areas in need of improvement and adjustment. We’ll begin each lesson with warmups, a series of vocal exercises to get your voice moving while bringing attention to different areas of your body and different sounds you are capable of making. After that, we move on to a song of your choosing. We believe in encouraging versatility; different genres and styles are welcome!
Professional Vocal Coaching
We are happy to provide lessons outside of the weekly lesson regimen to those that use their voices for income. If you are looking to get some help achieving your voice goals, build stamina or just learn a few tricks and tips for singing with ease, please reach out for more information.

Vocal Production
Get the most out of your time in the recording studio by putting your vocal performance through the paces. When it comes to recording, time is money so being well-rehearsed is key. We’ll consider optimal delivery of those carefully chosen lyrics, the overall shape and shifting energy of a song and its phrases, and keeping the stress out of hitting the high notes with consistency and integrity.

“It felt weird starting to learn music at 30 years old with zero knowledge but Stephanie made it a very comfortable and enjoyable experience. With a genuine love for music that you can hear in the way she talks, she’s able to teach you what you want to know and have fun doing it. I learned a lot from Stephanie and thoroughly enjoyed my time with her.”
