Things to Know

Timbre Voice Lab Studio Policies

COMMITMENT

Once lessons are booked and the Lab’s time is set aside for you, whether or not you are able to make it to a lesson, you will be billed.  Life is busy and people get sick so absences do happen...if it’s at all possible, give us a heads up so we don’t worry about you! If you decide to withdraw from lessons, we require 1 calendar month’s notice.  A student will be responsible for paying for any lessons that are missed due to insufficient notice of withdrawal.

PAYMENT

All students will receive an invoice via email before the 1st of each month.  Payment for the full month’s lessons is required at or before the first lesson of each month.  Payment can be made in person with credit or debit card, or via e-Transfer.  Any costs Timbre incurs due to insufficient funds or intercepted e-Transfers will be the responsibility of the student.  Starting in June of 2024, a late fee of $25 will be added to invoices not paid by the 10th.

VACATIONS

Everyone deserves one!  Timbre will provide 2 lesson exemptions per calendar year to students who have been enrolled for at least 3 calendar months.  Kindly, just give us 2 weeks notice.

STUDENT MAKE-UPS

If a lesson is missed, we will do our best to accommodate a make up, but if teacher rosters are full, this may not be an option. Any make-up credits will expire at the end of that calendar month.

As a professional singer who performs constantly, my lessons with Amy have proven to be crucial in the stamina and maintenance of my voice. Amy’s approach to teaching is fun, informative and efficient as she uses lots of visual aids to help you understand the mechanics of the voice and demonstrates the very best way to get the most out of your vocal performance. Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, Amy takes good care in giving you the tools you need to be a confident vocalist.
